Delbe Home Services awards franchises for one (1) ten-year period. At the expiration of the initial ten-year period the agreement can be renewed for one (1) ten-year period. What is the initial cost to open and operate the franchise? The initial investment range to open and operate a Delbe Home Services franchise is $25,300 to $61,900. Your costs may or will vary depending upon a number of business and market factors. What are the types and amounts of ongoing fees that I will be required to pay? You will be required to pay a monthly royalty fee of 3% of your gross monthly revenues to Delbe Home Services. You will be required to pay an advertising fund fee of 2%, not to exceed $4,000 annually (currently, we do not require the franchisee to pay this fee) of your monthly gross revenues to Delbe Home Services. You will be required to pay $75 a month to Delbe Home Services for computer support. Lastly, you will pay approximately $.50 per newsletter mailed to each potential and current member on your mailing list. What sort or organization is Delbe Home Services? Delbe Home Services is not a one-person company. Instead, it consists of individuals with many years of experience in management, franchise development, manual writing, computer training, franchise support, public relations, marketing and advertising. Does the franchisor provide financing? Delbe Home Services does not offer direct financing to new franchisees. Financial assistance may be offered to you in the form of a source book identifying the types of sources of financing, establishing relationships with various lenders and assisting the franchise candidate in the creation and presentation of a loan package. It is extremely important to Delbe Home Services that all of its franchisees participate in the daily operation of the franchise as well as remain enthusiastic about the concept and about the services they provide to members. In the event this is no longer possible, Delbe Home Services has established procedures to facilitate the smooth assignment of the franchise to another party. Are there any restrictions to the types of services that I may provide my members? No. As a Delbe Home Services franchisee you are there to meet all of the your members’ home maintenance, repair and improvement needs. However, Delbe Home Services has limited the number of commercial members a franchisee can service to 10% of the franchisee's total member base.
